USING PINK SALT & RECIPES
Salt Flakes are an ideal garnish. Place in a small finger bowl & sprinkle over food prior to eating. The flakes are ideal for cooking as they dissolve readily and enhance the flavour of all foods.
Grilled Yabbies with Salted Chilli Butter
1kg cooked yabbies (or prawns), butterflied
100g butter, softened
3 dried red chillies, finely chopped
1 cup flat leaf parsley, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 lemon, zested
1 tbsp pink salt flakes
Place yabbies on a grill plate, flesh side facing up. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and dot over the yabbies and place under a hot grill for a few minutes to warm the yabbies and melt the butter. Serve with lemon wedges and crusty bread.
